Affiliate marketing is extremely lucrative I base my business around it. But there is a learning curve involved. You have a point but with Clickbank its a big commission not small. Have you even seen Clickbank? But you do have a point with making your own product it is better but it is a lot of work if you do not know what you are doing. Most people make money by using affiliate marketers. Also most people offer between 50% – 75% of the money for affiliate marketers. So affiliate marketers often make more money per sale than the people who actually own the product but the people who own the product make money money over all depending on the number of affiliates they have selling their product of course.

don’t listen to the whiners on youtube, if you beleive in it, and you know its true, that is all that matters, very nice video, its was awesome watching it.
You could easily create your own product. “The 45n5 Affiliate Marketing Guide” ebook or DVD. This could even be a Free report that leads the reader towards your paid membership forum where you post monthly new videos that are too hot for youtube.
